Difference between arguing with proven misleading links gleaned via social media - versus - debating with scientifically proven facts in linked to peer reviewed papers and/or official disease centre websites (remembering that science is always moving and learning due to it being ... ummm . researched science)

The daily NSW Health statistics update includes information about vaccination status of those people who have died - News

That's all I have time to locate right now - there are other sources of information I've seen too.

And one of the main reasons I just shake my head in disbelief at them........ "I know more than medical experts because I saw something on facebook"

    Actually, it's comical

So.... once all the states get to 80% or whatever target they have, what is the next step for masks to go or 4sqm rule to disappear? Or are we going to push for 90% ?

I would hope that a lot of other people also decide this. The mask protects other people from you. It blocks a.lot.of the droplets you exhale. So if you are the only person wearing the mask, it doesn't benefit you much at all.

Unless you wear a properly fitting P2 (N95) mask - these are the ones that are thicker and you get from hardware stores. Wearing one of these will protect you from others.

And we could even start wearing the ones with the breathing valve - because it’ll be everyone for themselves so who cares what we breathe out!

Here’s a photo of one I happen to have sitting on the shelf…

I've noticed a shift in reporting from the number of infections to hospital capacity (across all States) including the impact on medical and nursing staff. Admin staff and paramedics will also be adversely affected in various ways.

    About time too.

Not that many who are more worried about when they can get to the beach or have a BBQ will care.

I've found data for Victoria, which shows that 10% of the hospitalisations in Victoria have been double vaccinated.
Daily Hospitalisations by Vaccination Status in Victoria - COVID Live
(I'm using the term "double vaccinated" because people aren't fully vaccinated until two weeks after the second jab).

That's with 54% of the population double vaccinated.

    Does anyone know?
With these fines for antivaxxers and protestors,
I doubt any of them would pay based on their flawed principals

Do they get sherrifs coming to their house, or wage garnished or does it register as a default hence they will have trouble with getting loans and credit cards

Part of fines is being a deterrent but given Australia's lax rules, it wouldn't surprise me if they end up being unpaid and written off

I would assume they are just like any other police issued infringement like a speeding fine. It gets issued, you can pay or you can appeal via the court system. If you don't pay then the matter is escalated to court. If you don't pay Court ordered fines then you are in for a world of pain.
