I'm referring to the parents. The risk-benefit of the vaccine in that cohort is semi-questionable.

So many promising drugs for covid.
All it took was a pandemic to spear head progress. :p

Not according to a number of research bodies. It may have been the case with Alpha but not so with Delta. The clinical trials for Pfizer for those under 12 are not being done just because they can be done or it seems a fun thing to do as that would be a waste of funds.

Molnupiravir is a really interesting example of a pivot - a drug that's been in existence and testing since 2013 for equine encephalitis, but able to be used for covid. Gonna make Merck some big $$$$

CDC has now back flipped on previous guidance now saying the vaccine’s do not prevent or make
Much difference to transmission with this Delta variant..

All the ones saying you have to get vaccinated to protect your fellow human or mandating nurses, or anyone else for that matter get vaccinated to Protect others is obviously a blatant lie.

Your statement is misrepresenting what Dr Walensky from the CDC has said.

Breakthrough infections are, and were, expected to occur. Where that occurs even a vaccinated person, although they may not become very sick themselves, can infect the unvaccinated or immunocompromised. In such circumstances the CDC suggested in it advisable to wear a mask.

    Updated 7 September.

    COVID-19 Vaccination

Dr Walensy's statement is quoted in this article from August so it isn't ground breaking news.

Fully vaccinated people who get a Covid-19 breakthrough infection can transmit the virus, CDC chief says - CNN

Vaccinated people can get Covid - we know that the vaccine isn't 100% effective. Somebody with Covid can transmit it, regardless of whether they've been vaccinated or not. However, the chances of getting Covid in the first place are far smaller for somebody who's been vaccinated.

I prefer to use lavender oil with a dash of peppermint myself. I've never contracted small pox or tuberculosis so I know it definitely works.

What's mis-leading is making claim that it reduces transmission without any real evidence. CDC doesn't track Breakthough infection's and its most likely that due to reduced symptoms after being vaccinated that people aren't coming forward to be tested.

What im struggling with, is you can be fully vaccinated, contract the virus, then pass on the virus to another fully vaccinated person, and so on and so on, and there's no data to support it being "less" transmissible? Sure, reduced symptoms, reduced hospitalizations, reduced deaths etc

But fully vaccinated Person A with Covid sneezing on Person B Fully vaccinated, is clearly no different than Person A not being vaccinated and sneezing on Person B that is fully vaccinated.
Unless your telling me Vaccinated Person A somehow has "less" Covid than someone who isn't?

As of April 30th - 10,262 breakthrough cases in the USA only were reported against 101m fully vaccinated
As of Oct 4th 30,177 breakthrough cases reported against 185m FV

So does this mean the vaccines are losing effectiveness?
