    My grandparents sold their house recently 1 open 30-35 groups through and sold that same day.

    So it does happen, however it is either there is a heap of demand or marketing to try and get you to list your property.

    It's a classic real estate marketing technique . ..we get these letters all the time and have for years .

    We get one or two a week from the same sprinkling of agents. I have assumed they are merely marketing. A couple of different agents targeting Albany Creek/Eatons Hill and several agencies from North Lakes.

    I don't think that it is just marketing. I've noticed that prices have really shot up in the area that I live in.

    I have started to get hand written notes "my grandfather lives in your street, I want to live near him blah blah" that is a first for me.
