    ...but are they awesome? This is a property group based on the Gold Coast I had a chat with their team and everyone was really helpful - it's like a family in there. Anyways I left feeling really optimistic but wanted to see if anyone else has had any dealings with them?
    Specifically -

    Are they legit? They've got a big office which is cool, but is property their core business?
    Is their rep good? I'm from Brisbane so don't know much about local reputation.
    Do they deliver? They have all these guarantees in place, but I've been burnt before.

    @Rhys Knight - Never heard the name.

    I would invest a week reading through property chat and the previous forum (Somersoft) and do your due diligence from there onwards. This site has everything you need to build a property portfolio ground up. And invest in a couple of books starting with Jan Somers' books.

    Maybe I should buy the book....or not.

    We're buying an investment property on the GC. At the moment we're looking at creating a hedge for our existing portfolio and we're exposed in Sydney and Melbourne. I feel like Brisbane is a bit overpriced. I know it's cheap by national and global standards but I just can't justify $900k for a suburban fixerupper.
