Any benefit in these? My parents have one, they started it 2-3 years back when they were semi-retired to now "75%" retired as they'd like to refer to themselves. Most of the seeds came from their friends, water is harvested from a 2,000L rainwater tank with a pump (they do have a few solar panels fed back to the grid as a small offset). Of course, quantities aren't huge, in fact probably not even enough even supplement for a small amount of the grocery shopping but I guess organic is better? My folks aren't in it to save dollars more so to enjoy time retiring and keeping fit. In fact would it be wiser to just buy organic?
