Try Ozark. One of the best series Netflix ever made.

I think you'll love it if you give it a go. Season 2 really kicks it up a notch!

I got into Ozark, and enjoyed it, but I wouldn't rate it at the top.

It received an 8.3 rating from IMDb which isn't bad.

Breaking Bad rated 9.5, which is the equal second best rating I've seen (with Game of Thrones). David Attenborough's new documentary Our Planet rated 9.7.

Watched most of Series1 and thought it was OK.
I’ve never been a huge fan of Jason Bateman especially in a non comedic role which is probably why.

He doesn’t hold a candle to Bryan Cranston in terms of acting. Walter White is arguably the greatest ever acting performance in a TV series.
Sir Anthony Hopkins actually quoted it as just that.

Agreed. I wouldn't rate it as the greatest series either but definitely one of the best in my opinion.

For those you who love your Sci-Fi check out 'Travelers'. A pretty decent series on Netflix. I personally like how the show is not too 'geeky' but still smart enough to be entertaining. But what I love about this show is the overall message it delivers. About what we're doing with our lives and how the choices we make today impact the future.

Netflix picked up the show after season 1 had already aired with another production company. Sadly though, after season 3 aired they cancelled the series.

But I do have hope someone else will pick up where Netflix left off. It was just too good of a series and the reviews speak for themselves.

Haven't read the whole thread so apologies if I am doubling up.

Current shows (If you have not seen the first four, I highly recommend you do):
    Shameless (US Version, not UK)
Animal Kingdom (US Version, not the old AU version)
    The Society
    Dead To Me
    American Horror Story
    This is Us
The Good Place (Light hearted fun, not as serious as the others)
    Young Sheldon
    Simpsons
    Bobs Burgers
    Rick & Morty
    The Grand Tour
    Wheeler Dealers
I begrudgingly put The Walking Dead on here, I hope to get back into it one day but am half a season behind as it's getting "samey".
    13 Reasons Why (BRILLIANT Show)

    Finished (or finishing) shows:
    Santa Clarita Diet
    Last Man On Earth
    Dexter
    Breaking Bad
    Continuum
    Sanctuary
    Big Bang Theory
    Game of Thrones
    The Purge
    Mrs Browns Boys
The End Of The F***ING World
    Stranger Things
    Russian Doll

    Old shows:
    The Young Ones
Bottom (If you haven't seen this and you loved the young ones, you need to see this :))
    Monty Python
    Black Adder
    Fawlty Towers
    Steptoe & Son
    Filthy Rich & Catflap
    Street Hawk
    Night Rider
    Chips
    Get Smart
    I Dream of Genie
    Bewitched

I am sure I have missed quite a few but oh well :).

You didn't like the English version of Shameless? I quite liked it, it was interesting to compare how they treated the characters.

The first season of the US series was almost a direct take of the English series, but then they diverged completely. Both lasted quite a few seasons.

Shows how subjective it all is - there are a lot on your list that I would poke my eyes out before watching/rewatching

I didn't mind it but I much prefer the US version, WHM is the best Frank by far :).

Curious as to which ones? Some of the things I have on there are so crappy and cheesy but they are good childhood memories for me which is why they make my list :).

    Ah, the nostalgia.

A superb series. Although any comment about the character represented would inevitably draw a contrast with the real world so I shall abstain.
