It may still become one, but even so, if someone ****** up to the $50mil mark on the wall, it will inspire a few people. "If they can do it, so can I".

Those it deflates have simply made the choice to feel that way.

As mentioned earlier, I found this sort of stuff incredibly inspiring when I was starting out. I grew up thinking a $100,000 income was the highest mark I would have a realistic shot at.

Then I saw enough examples to realise that was merely a self-imposed limitation formed by what I'd been exposed to.

Bloody depressing when looking at the figure I owe to the banks.

With one growth cycle....those depressing figures of $1.5-2m with say 2-3m in assets could turn to $5-6m in assets. Then the figures you owe to the bank will bring a smile to your face.

I told my broker...I want to be in debt to the bank to the tune of $10m....she smiled with glee! Given my preference for low LVRs...IF I HIT that figure I know I should have 12-20m in equity!

    We have something in common.

A desire for figures of investment debt.

I'm going to take a stab and say you're getting close to the $2m mark? How's that for a rough guess Steven?

My network must be a billion by now.... To me networth is not important, whats important to me is that my goals are being achieved.

It's inspiring to see how many votes the poll has received for $1 million +. It motivates me more to try to increase my net worth even further! At age 24, even though I'm ahead of a lot of my friends with my net worth, I still feel I need to push myself more! ;P

You know what I like seeing?
I like that I've gone from below average/Average when answering polls like this on SS to being what seems to be Above average now.

Its great to see that lots of newbies/younger folk are in the game and its also great to see yourself moving through the groupings in the polls (hopefully upwards) over time.

Thanks to all forumites, I've learnt so much from you all and thanks to the Sydney property market!

Yeah its an income exchange program I have setup with bunnings. I give them all my money and they transform it into receipts.

Actually as insane as it sounds..... I used to know people in that situation...spent all their money, desperately waiting for the next pay day.
