    It says that I joined SS in 2003, however that isn't accurate. We wound up our Business in late in 2001, which we started in 1999. I remember logging on using dial up prior to this. Although I'm not great with dates, that is cemented in my mind, as we had a trip to the US, and were in LA when 9/11 happened.

    First IP was bought early in 1998. @Lil Skater went to school the next day & told her friends that we'd won a house on the weekend. Can't remember if I joined before that or not. I did a lot more reading than posting back in those days, but it's been a ritual for me nearly every day since. First thing in the morning, make a cup of tea & read the forum.

    LOL @See Change wasn't it near Canberra somewhere to do with Freestylers? I think you and I joined at a similar time and I've been a diehard addict for over 20 years now...... along with Aceyducey, BV, Perky, Rolf, Michale and Yuch, Skater etc... too many name changes for me to keep up with now :D

    Remember the excitement of the first chatbox set up to talk in real time?! :D How times have changed! Now if only property prices were the same as 1999/2000 :rolleyes: ie: affordable

    From memory it was around 2003 not sure on the date,same name for the entire time.
    A lot of poster's from that time either no longer post or changed their names as some of those that were high up in the banks were a wealth of knowledge..
