'cause a lot depends on whether you have to support yourself financially for the next twelve months - or the next 40 years.

Hubby and I still haven't worked out the "how to holiday together" thing either, as we have such different expectations out of a holiday.

I would just keep doing what I do now but I would for sure post porn all over the forum and get banned in a blaze of glory.

    What would you do with
    Job: Quit.
Assets : spent the cash, assets given to my best asset manager, mom.
Friends/family : will try to meet most of my friends before i go. wife n kid already taken care off.
Travel: done it already so will not be a priority
Lifestyle: Sport and Fun. thats it.

Anything else:i will sell enough assets and spent all my savings to fund a racing career for one full season (6 months). season ticket at old trafford and attend every single major sport semi's and final, i can get tickets too.
maybe give some to charity,i prefer to help under privilege kids to achieve something. education/make a wish foundation something like that.

why am i not doing any of these.. need to physically live in europe to do it.. for 12 months. aint happening with a wife and kid.

Somebody I know through the Somersoft forum just announced today on Facebook that he has been diagnosed with inoperable cancer. The best he can hope for is to slow things down.

Geoff, my aunt was diagnosed with an inoperable cancer about 4 months ago and told she had about 2 weeks to live. She got put on some trial drug in Sydney. The trial was meant to start the week after she was diagnosed, but was delayed a week so was meant to start after her "use-by" date (sorry, can't think of a better term). Anyway, she managed to keep going and started the trial. Four months later, all of her inoperable tumours have shrunk by 30%. They now say she's got at least two years and she hasn't even finished the trial yet! They're even saying they may be able to operate now, but she had to go to see a different specialist. Not sure if she's done that yet. Very exciting though!

Nope, they offered none at all. Just "Whoops, didn't we stuff up!". I did think about suing, but frankly just wanted to move on. I felt more for the poor person who got my results and as a result lost two weeks of her already shortened life :(

I try, but he likes to holiday together and we just end up stressed. He's a "got to race around and look at every rock and tree that some famous person might have stood on/under, perhaps, two hundred years ago and then wizz off to the next lake/mountain view/bridge" ... while I'm a wander down the street, stop at the cafe to let the world pass by then potter down to the art gallery

I would like to make sure that my parents, in laws and partner was set up financially. I'd also make sure that my will is set out according to my wishes and assets allocated to the right parties. I don't believe in doing anything crazy, except maybe to travel around the world.

As a way to appreciate the fantastic life I've had with all the opportunities, would like to give back to humanity through volunteer work, financial donations or make a difference to either an individual or a group of people.

I would also leave a video recording of a message to my family.

Be careful what you focus your attention on. You wouldn’t want to manifest anything like this by giving too much thought to it... & bringing it into your experience.

    Awful

There would be positives to take from this experience. Did it change your life? Felt more grateful? .... Like you had a near death experience :)

    ☆☆☆☆☆Definitely.

I'd do something like this Cruise results... seems so affordable in the scheme of things to be honest...
Invite friends and family to do the trip with me or at least sections of it.

Remaining assets go to nieces and nephews (if the PPOR had to be inherited... not sure who would get that!) It should stay in the family though.

    I've heard others say this

The worst thing in life is to know the exact date of when you die

    Which I can understand

Sorry but you can wander down the street and let the world pass by when you're at home too. Your husband is right about making the most of the holiday by exploring the place, you should listen to him more often :D
