Hi, I'm wanting to put in an offer on a property but want to ensure that I can install another bathroom along with some other alterations. Unsure if this is possible due to the lot size/access for machinery/sewer layout etc.

I would like to have a clause in place where if accepted, I could have a chat with my builder and ensure those things are possible before commiting. Thanks for the help

Yes you can, but would have to be a cool/cold market to do this, and cannot be for an auction.

Can't you just get your builder friend to go through with you on an inspection and figure it out then?

If you can't do it with a bobcat/hoe then they'd do it with labour.

Most things are possible just a matter of the $

Vendor's answer on the condition will be a firm 'no' unless it's a dog of a property in a slow market.
