Im sure this will make feminists all over rejoice. For many years theyve fought hard to finally one day... be on a traffic sign.

 

It's probably the only time that chick has stopped traffic.

 

Anyway.... I love this... I want it on a t-shirt!

 

Blind people don't care.

A simple "Cross" in green and "Don't Cross" in red should suffice without offending anyone.

 

I prefer a crossing timer rather than a walking person of any kind.

That way you know exactly how many seconds you have left to get across.

 

So it's a traffic light at one intersection. To honor an important woman from history.

That means, all they did was change the front part of the light.

Doesn't really seem that terrible...or expensive. Cheaper than a statue.
