    hi all,

Just watched the segment on 60mins about the young boy William tyrell that was kidnapped from his grandparents house a year ago.

Just wondering what people's thoughts are on this terrible situation.

Do you think he is still alive and well?

I really hope they find him alive. Having a son close to his age it really hits me about what his devastated family is going through. And imagine what that poor boy is going through not being able to see his mum and dad at 4 years old. It is so sad.

Hate to say my opinion, but Unfortunately it will be a miracle if he is still alive.

My wife and I decided not to watch it. We have a 3 1/2 boy and it would have upset us too much.

Yes it was hard to watch. Even the reporter was crying. There is something wrong with you if you can sit there and watch it without getting emotional.

Everyone hopes that you are right. Unfortunately odds are not looking good... Let's hope that inside you lives a little clairvoyant

I think they say first 48 hours most important, after this chances drop significantly.

I did not watch this, do they have any leads/suspects?
I heard about some tradesperson who came to the property same day, and perhaps a person of interest

It took some 10 years to resolve Daniel Morcombe case/abduction.
This may unfortunately end up same way?

Yes they said they have a few leads and a number of suspects.

That washing machine repairer seems suspicious.

Apparently William is a foster child so possibly his real parents could have taken him.

    So many different possibilities.

A foster child... Now the odds to find him alive improved. His birth family can have something to do with his disappearance. Was he taken from his 'birth grandmothers' place or 'foster grandmothers' house?

I don't know if he is exactly a foster child. Don't know what to believe because I read it somewhere on the Internet.

not that I seen, I missed a bit of it though. Maybe if it's true they don't want to disclose that info as its part of a lead

If it has not been mentioned officially, it is only a rumour just like millions of other theories in the internet

Sad to say but I suspect he was taken by a pedofile sicko and is now deceased, similar to that poor girl found in SA a couple of months ago.

The inclusion of those ex GAPA members who were convicted of child sexual abuse is signficant, given one lived close by.

It was a strange interview with the parents covering their faces. Plus the host pulling out the tissue for the logie nomination. And i dont think they needed to name and shame that bloke when the police have multiple suspects. It was a strange interview with some inappropriately worded questions.
Moving situation but the story didn't do it justice

I haven't been following this closely but I remember at the time thinking how absurd it was they spent so much time and resources searching the surrounding bushland. It was clear it was an abduction.

The old man they have accused, the washing machine repairer apparently has a conviction of child sex offences or something along those lines, so that's why they were looking close at him.
