Pretty sure I answered this in thread, I did mine through BuyMyPlace and couldn't be happier. It's lists on all the main REA websites in Australia including the main Chinese REA website for expats apparantly.

 

I'll leave it to the professionals and stick to what I do best.

I don't service me own car or do my own health checkups, either.

Happy to buy off vendors selling on their own every day of the week. Often–but not always–a good chance for a bargain.

Personally, I treat all my properties as a business venture and get someone else to do it, less profit but less stress as well.

 

Yes I've bought and sold privately a number of times. The negative is that some potential buyers won't want to deal with an owner because they are ignorant of the fact that realestate agents function is pretty superfluous to property transactions and are afraid to enter the process without guidance.

 

I advertised on the major websites through a no commission agent. I paid $600 for advertising until sold. That's all they do the rest is up to me.
