My parcel was supposed to come Tuesday by 5pm. That was a couple of days ago. When will it arrive?

    I got a delivery from Amazon the other day, I happened to check the delivery link which originally said it would be delivered the next day.

    Then I saw it it was changed to delivered. Considering someone was supposed to sign for it I found this strange.

    I went out the front and there it was just plonked on top of our fence in plain sight for everyone.

    No ring of the doorbell, nothing :(.

    Signing has generally been dropped in favour of a selfie with the parcel :D as proof of delivery.

    Welcome to social distanced deliveries. Nobody bothers now.
    "Must sign" means they will take a photo and leave. Insured or not. A few telcos spat it and have insisted customers must sign electronically as $2K phones were being left unattended. Skytrack and Toll.

    Ironically one the best is the Australia Post app. Its in real time and you can redirect and more. As long as you have a AP account. It pings you to tell you its outside. Amazon use many carriers incl AP.

    I had a laptop monitor delivered the other week and the Austpost email said cannot be left, must be collected and signed for. It didn't come on the day they said it would so looked it up and it said was delivered. I asked Aust post and they said it was left with the conceirge and signed for. Checked with them but they stopped accepting parcels during covit. So wrote back to Austpost who replied saying I should check with the sender. (in USA - how would they know).

    So I replied via my law firm address asking for who signed for it or other evidence it was delivered. The next day it mysteriously arrived.

    I ordered a new cot on 2 November and haven’t got it yet. From Brisbane and I’m in Sydney. So annoying. The freight company are insisting they haven’t lost it but I’m sure they have. Bloody useless.

    that is annoying too! I should say not fedex, this company is terrible. Every time I call and chase it up they explain how their whole freight process works. I don’t care, I just want my package!

    I went to pick up a parcel from the PO yesterday. I showed my photo ID and took the parcel away.

    It was only when I got to the car that I realised that I had been wearing a mask when I showed my photo ID.

    I ordered a special pair of shoes from the UK ... the. supplier can track them as far as Egypt ... got refund

    But follow up. On our community page, nearly daily there are messages asking if anyone got their package or advising that they've received someone else's package
