As I suspected, a notice of allocation won't be issued. May change if a sufficient number of holders put pressure on but I doubt that will happen.

So if you need a record of the price and quantity allocated for, say, your super fund, best make up your own or contact your broker to get the details. Some will probably use a product such as sharesight.

Personally I did as per my post of 4 March and also included a copy of the BPay transaction in the merged PDF.

I know results aren't announced until July, but any thoughts on MIR final dividend? MIRNA get's 50% of MIR.

    a) <$0.065
    b) $0.065
    c) >$0.065

Fixed but I'll assume it'll be the same as last year. However, will it be all or partially sourced from LIC Capital Gain? That's another guessing game.

And from what I understand no DRP will or can apply to MIRNA.

I'm hoping for no dividend as I loaded up on some more on market MIRNA some time back, but I think the chance of that is about the same... Failing that I'll take the smallest dividend possible thanks. It's was a bet I'm willing to lose, but hoping to win. :)

Yes those LIC capital gains distributions are always nice come tax time - I'll have some more of them too please.

Although the dividend history indicates when specials are included, it doesn't show the LIC Capital Gain Discount which is a bit of a pity.

Yes surprising LIC capital gain discount isn't 'up there in lights' given the benefits. Let's keep it our secret. ;)

Based on history - hasn't payed more the 6.5 for an ordinary. Business conditions are good but I can't see a special div this year - maybe next year if things keep going well. But I've no clue really, just gossiping.

7.0c, makes the 50% MIRNA simplier at 3.5c. Not sure they can do a further dec place?

Nice April growth in NTA overall and across most the top 20 after a few flat months.

@SatayKing I think this is your last post? Not a lot happening in the Lic world at the moment but I hope you are out bush walking somewhere or drinking lots of coffee :)

    It was until this one.

There appears to be a trend towards divisiveness and tribalism. Someone can post a view outlining their investing approach and attitude which suits them and a lecture on how wrong they are will ensue.

    Nup.

    :D

When conversations go in certain directions, remember this:

"Curiously enough, the only thing that went through the mind of the bowl of petunias as it fell was Oh no, not again."

Then a degree of calmness shall be restored. ;)

This came into my email last night from the Trustee of the TT with the one cryptic word "Ouch."

I had to ask and now I know what the "ouch" meant. Number of shares in '000's followed by value at the time (half-yearly report.)

Well, yes but not based on the screen shot I posted. It's for AFI. Just wanted to see if anyone picked that up.*

MIR is actually on 14 July.

*Not really but I'm not prepared to admit I goofed it.

Yes so am I. There was a big jump in the April NTA and share price, but apart from that that MIR has been disappointing of late.

8.5c final (6.5c + 2c special) fully franked + w/ LIC gain benefit. Looks like plenty of franking + LIC in reserves. Though i'd prefer a lower payout and the managers invest it in capital growth.

Comment on Nuix is that they sold without loss, so that saved some pain!
