    The planning controls are the same throughout the State. You'd be best looking for an experienced gun planner, and not necessarily one who works in selected or particular locations. Look for experience, capability, understanding of your objectives, a willingness to take Council planners on and not be coerced into accepting second best. Also - a small firm, or sole practitioner is likely to give you better service and better value for money.

    Personally I'd be looking for someone who is familiar with the council I want to develop with and also comes well recommended.
