... and here we go again

We love watching the classics and the tour has just started tonight. We tape it, avoid the news in the mornings and settle down for three weeks' worth of fantastic cycling.

    Anybody else watching?

Yes, will be watching, enjoy watching the race, but difficult to stay up for all stages.
Last year, I watched a lot of the highlights the next morning, sbs has a great website for it.

I enjoy watching every year. Both the cycling and the amazing scenery!

I watch it for Phil Liggett's commentary, the beautiful scenery, and the carnage dealt to the peloton in cross winds and up the big mountains. Up we go Alpe d'Huez again this year. Yippie!

Love those truly epic stages - Col du Galibier, Mont Ventoux, Col du Tourmalet. So much suffering, you just want to reach into the TV screen and push the riders up the hills.

Will never forget a classic line from Phil in the 2011 time trial with Andy Schlek in yellow - "and Cadel Evans is ABSOLUTELY SLAUGH-TER-ING them."

Cavendish is running out of stages where he has a shot at being first across the line. Good to see Greipel giving some competition. Hope they both make it to Paris, respect due to all the sprinters for their ability to haul their arses over the mountains and stay within the time cut-offs

Do we have to watch Peter Russell Clark cook eggs before an Aussie rules match?
