I rang up a buyers agent last week in Western Australia, got his name from google search

When I spoke him about looking for property for me in WA he mentioned he had never been to Sydney !

I was quite shocked actually and immediately hung up on him .

Can I ask if anyone here from other States has never been to Sydney ?

By the thousands in all states at least. Sydney is not the a compulsory visit for anyone.

I haven't been to Perth, Adelaide, Canberra etc

I know plenty of people from the peninsula who don't go so far south as Dee Why. There's no need.

Since moving over here in the 90's I've met many adults over here who've never been more than 3hrs out of the Perth CBD for a holiday, others have only been further for work (fifo) or to Balli because it's cheap.

It's a very different way of thinking over here re travel, on the east coast everything seems closer, more convenient, it doesn't seem strange or difficult to go up to the Gold Coast or down to the snow fields etc for an entertaining weekend.

Many people in Adelaide dont go north of Grand Junction Road (boundary of drugs and murder) let alone Sydney.

Well, I've been a couple of times, for work, but not in a hurry to go back. Although many people seem to like it there.

    I don't leave Bondi.

It's way too dangerous to leave the lair unnecessarily.

With some very good BAs in Adelaide, the need to go becomes quite redundant.

I'd rather go to Adelaide than Sydney and I'd rather poke myself in the eye than go to Adelaide.

A friend of mine recently went to Fremantle for the first time and was blown away. She fell in love and wants to move there next year.
