I did lexicon quarter semi gloss for trims and doors in a 2 bedroom apartment. Still have old grey carpets so it looks a bit glaring white. Think it will look much better with wood floors as I did vivid white semi gloss in a house. The house was also glaring white with all the floor protection on. After the wooden floors was removed it looks good.

Both properties had lexicon quarter walls and are relatively small though.

I would just go the same colour but in a aquanamel in low gloss or semi gloss depending on your preference.

We’ve just done this. Lexicon Quarter throughout and semi gloss enamel for woodwork.

Have just done lexicon half. Arcs and skirts are just vivid white aqua enamel. Looks great.

I've also just finished painting walls in Lexicon half and now need to do the woodwork (doors, archs, skirts) . Is vivid white aqua enamel a lot more white than Lexicon half? Is aqua enamel acrylic or enamel based paint?

Is low gloss or semi gloss better then gloss? I guess it's not so reflective?

Currently painting. Vivid white on all trims, lexicon on walls. To be honest, I'm not a fan & should have gone slightly darker, but the issue could be my vaulted ceilings and the direction of the sun. From one direction you can clearly see the walls are a very light grey, but from the other direction it all blends in together.

Are you doing your walls in full Lexicon? I just painted some rooms in Lexicon half and found it's a bit grey compared to the ceiling/cornice which is standard white ceiling paint in a mat finish, but still looks ok. Is Vivid white more white than grey compared to Lexicon?

Yes, full lexicon. Trims are Vivid white & ceiling is just ceiling paint.

I feel vindicated - the "Coloursmith by Taubmans" app, uses Khaki on it's landing page. Soon Mission Brown will be back.

    Have they been eavesdropping?

Yeah was happy with the choice of white. It's a pure white throughout the day.

Lexicon quarter / white one white combo on the last two repaints has worked well for me

Agree with momentum on the antique white USA and with the strong red tint that’s used in it can easily throw a pinkish and people are moving way from it compare to 10years ago when I was working in the paint industry

Agree! I've previously always used Antique White USA, and loved it, but now it just seems so old fashioned.
