I had a PM a couple of days ago - somebody else is buying in the same development, and will be on the same block in the same street as @PeteH and myself.

We could have PropertyChat meetings on the block with more people attending than some of the Canberra meetings.

This is the large sign that now greets you on Kanangra Drive. Slowly but surely the land is transforming into the site of our future homes. IMG_20200827_111727680.jpg

Hey guys, I've also secured a block in Crangan Bay! I'm on Yaguna in a 709sqm block, which is at the Ganang Street end. You should be able to work out which lot number with those details. I had to sign up to the forum just to say hello as we're going to be neighbours, after all.

I've started a PC conversation with you both and I've created a Crangan Bay Community group on Facebook if you would like to join so we have a private place to share our excitement and experiences with building -- and eventually living -- in Crangan Bay.

    It seems nit
Ah, the three of us already in the group are on one block. You're the outsider, being two blocks away haha.

I can't find the Facebook group, I'll send you my FB via PM.

We've exchanged - though it will be 12+ months to completion, then another six months or so to build.

We're looking at selling up in Canberra early next year, and renting on the Central Coast.

    Thanks @MD84 - I've found the group.

Any other Crangan Bay wannabes, contact one of us to get access to the group.

Well done Geoff! I'll be up that way next week so I'll see if there's been any progress on the land since last month.

I'm now finding that when I'm out and about I'm looking at fences, landscaping etc for ideas. Exciting times!

I can't answer that yet, sorry.

    But welcome to the forum.

We've conversed privately, thanks for "coming out" in the public forum.

Thanks for the post. Ive had emails with Peter Kalaf and he said contractor will start this month and we'll receive updates as our stage progresses. I have also looked at google maps and adding the street view feature, someone has posted pictures of our stage one as it is now, all bush of course but its nice the see the land slope is not that bad.

Prices ranged from $285k to $350k. Stage 1 has completely sold out now, approval for stage 2 is with the council. Indications were that the prices were lower for Stage 1. But the council is in big financial trouble ATM.
Central Coast Council suspended over $89 million debt

I've heard one report of a fire sale of properties.

    Perhaps we have a bargain!

Hi neighbour. Small world & within walking distance. It didn't take long for prices to start going back up again either.

We will absolutely have to have a Gold Coast meetup. :D

There are a few more photo points on Google Maps than previously.
