And let's hope much warmer than in Sydney here! Maybe one day I will move there too...many friends and family live there too?

The weather is awesome. Summers aren't crazy hot - and winters are perfect.

    Cheers

Point Frederick, parts of East Gosford have the best gentrification potential plus you are not far from water. I think long term being close to water would bring more of a premium than being close to station and the main streets.

Was in Gosford late last year. Maybe I wasn’t paying attention, but I didn’t see any level of gentrification. Didn’t look any different to when i used to go to Club Troppo about 20 years ago!

Partner and I considered to move up several years ago. We visited in winter day - it was sunny and 22 degrees :D unfortunately we also find it to be too quiet. Maybe when we are older.

Moved to Melbourne where winter is one digit in the morning now ... and some days in summer

Yes much quieter than Sydney but I have many close friends and family living there so we would spend more time with people we love, it wouldn't be an economical move instead more an emotional one. So far elderly family member, our adult kinds for now, and the business keeps us here...but who knows what the future holds?
