    Strata fees might be the deal breaker when property gets this cheap. Theres a block in highgate (Tower Ridge) that had some 2 bedders going for 250k, maybe less even. problem was strata at 900+/qtr. Add in council and water rates and that's nearly 50% of your rental income gone before you've even made a loan repayment.

    I used to own one in this area and it was 400qtr. Not too bad I guess but strata fees are the killer.
