Where can I get tradies in Sydney? Especially Carpenter

    Hi everyone..

    Just bought a PPOR and need a few tradies to do a few small jobs.. Especially a carpenter to re hang a door the other way around so it opens the other way.

    Its been a very long time since I'be used tradies and now have no idea where I can find a good carpenter.

    I've stumbled across Hipages.com.au but I've read some negative reviews from the tradies themselves regarding how it's become a place for undercutting.. I don't want a cheap job I just want to pay a fair price.

    Any suggestions on where I can look to find a carpenter in Sydney?

    Seriously, "SYDNEY" is a damn big place :p
    It sounds like a gumtree ad, coffee table for sale, pick up only, location Syd :confused:
    That could be anywhere from Heathcote to the hills, Bondi to the Blue mountains :rolleyes: (a 2 hour + drive each way)

    Would be easier if you were more specific Frank ;)

    I like Hipages, I've personally used it quite a few times to find tradies and never heard anything negative about the platform itself.
