For me this happened on Sunday. I was working at an Expo, having been invited by another company, whom I supply batteries to.

Sunday was the third day and I'd been to a couple of expos before, but I'm a bit of an introvert and approaching people to give them a sales pitch has never been something that I've been particularly good at nor that I even remotely enjoyed.

But on Sunday, I noticed myself having fun and realised that I was actually getting quite good at it!

While I am and remain an introvert, I've become adequate at a largely extroverted skill and don't dislike it anymore.

So I'm very proud of the growing that I did.

I generally tend to downplay anything I do and undervalue things that I accomplish but I started leatherworking last year down the local library once a week. After doing some basic keyrings I fully designed and made a wallet for myself and a wallet for my sister and have been very happy with both of them.

Mins is Italian leather with copper rivets and my sisters is Italian leather outer, goat leather inner and fully hand stitched.

I got into an argument with the missus last week. The next day I was still really annoyed. Came home and from the look on both our faces, we were both expecting another argument. I gave her a kiss and a hug, told her I loved her. And that was it :)

I'm one of those types that's quite hard on myself, so answer is...not recently or perhaps ever. Pros and cons having this type of mindset.

I have met and engaged with some fantastic people in real life from this forum over the years. Some remain friends years later. However, I've also met some who made me think, screw it... I don't need this crap in my life. I'm not interested to engage offline anymore with anyone.

Recently I opened myself up to the possibility again and because of that (quite organically) I've been able to meet a really cool and successful person from here who I've now become friends with.

    No regrets this time.

My awesome 21 and 24 year old kids. Wave of reflection on the weekend. I’m so proud of these young adults. We are very close and get on so well. So proud of them and I felt like I did a good job.

    Proud or proud of yourself?

You can obviously feel proud of yourself in this scenario, I'm not stopping you.
But I personally feel proud of my kids more frequently than I feel proud of myself.

50-50 I guess and a bit different from your expo experiences..
Just the way I feel walking in the family home as there was over 30 people camping in the local park this morning and most of them would be proud of themselves in their own way.

Realising that I'm seen as a good role model in the family especially by my little (20s...) cousins that I used to baby sit ages ago.

Not just from a financial/educational perspective but also physically, most of the boys are getting into sports and realising that 30/40/... are just numbers ...
The look on their faces when they realised I'm 40 was priceless.

My veggie garden - started off with herbs which were easy - Thyme, Thai Basil and Dill. Then started plants like Potato, cherry tomatoes and lemon.
