We all lead busy lives, mine seems more hectic than usual. Full-time job, a house with half finished jobs and a teething 16 month old that doesn't sleep. I find the only time I can PC is squeezing a few moments in at work but mainly between the hours of 1 and 5am when I constantly am needing to settle our toddler to sleep.
Do you make time? Or just wherever? When do you PC?

    Hi Raydar,

Since PC is mobile-optimised (SS was a bit clunky the mobile/tablet), I find my commuting hours each week are consumed with PC chatter!

Yes I love that it works great on the phone. Otherwise I wouldn't really get on it.

As soon as I get to work and during - love to see what's transpired overnight.

I can tell you when you collectively PC :D

9pm is the busiest time of day, there are definite jumps at 12pm and at 5pm too.

Mobile phones rule the early hours, peaking for the 8am commute and again for the 5pm commute.

Tablets are used mostly just before work or in the evening after work.

Desktops have an initial surge around 9am when people get to work and then pick up during the afternoon when people get bored :D ... one final surge before home time and then the evening desktop crowd don't kick in until after dinner.

This data is from June 21 - July 21 and counts "sessions" by device type.

A session is started when someone visits the site and ends when they have been idle (no new pages being loaded) for more than 30 minutes.

If you leave your browser window open on PropertyChat and go to lunch, coming back 31 minutes later and clicking on a link in the open browser window - that would be counted as a new visit.

Same here, sometimes on my laptop during the commute.
At work I'm always working in a browser, usually have a PC chat tab open. So distracting ;)

@Simon Hampel Love it. Cool little snapshot of PC. All I can think though is 'management would love those graphs'.

I think I need to increase my data plan on my mobile. I am addicted to PC. I may need to see a counsellor who does not read PC.

I tend to log online during morning tea, lunchtime and afternoon tea breaks. Otherwise when it's a slow day in the office.

    You're not alone.
It's great reading all the people who've come out of the woodwork, may have been a bit shy over at SS.

I always plan on sleeping on the evening commute but always get drawn to the allure of PC.

Better then coffee for an energy kick!!

A counter argument is that the ease of its use is detracting from the quality of posts. Perhaps?
As an example, I know that I've been posting a hell of a lot more, arguably without benefit to anyone, whereas on SS I was relatively quiet.

Too often! Mainly at night but also a lot during the day at work.

Hmmm... I have only 288 posts on SS and that was as a member between 2011-2015. Here I have racked up 281 posts and its been less than 5 weeks?

    Really good question :)...

You will see a pattern with my posts, I tend to do this after 8pm and usually for an hour a night. I get so much information from here its not even funny. My wife is Cool too she will give me one hour of Property chat time but I must chill back with her too for :)
