    First PPoR purchased in 1985 - $77k Sold for $93k in 1990.
Second purchased in 1992 - vacant land for $60k, built house on for $180k. Sold in 1998 for $365k
Third PPoR purchased in 1998 for $450k. Sold in 2000 for $750k
Fourth PPoR purchased in 2000 for $305K Sold in 2010 for $850k
Fifth PPoR purchased in 2005 for $300k (vacant land), started build house on it in 2009 for $900k (completed in 2011). Sold in 2015 for $1.45m (forced sell due to economic hardhsip).
Sixth PPoR purchased in 2015 for $660k (knock-over with a tenant currently in it). Will hopefully be building new dwelling on site mid-next year for approx $350k...$400k all up with house removal, pool etc.

Note; none of these places were bought with any sort of investor mindset for future cap growth etc, and were not sold for any economic benefit mindset - totally emotional based purchases and sales based on circumstances of the day....

2011 - 510k guessing market rate would be about 1M today but easily high 900s.

Not bad for 6 years and not being Sydney :)

First PPOR Macquarie Fields 185 k, 2005, IP worth about 450k now
    2nd PPOR Cabramatta 570k, 2015 worth about 700k now.

Two weeks before buying cabra i dislocated my shoulder at the beach, told may not be able to return to my workplace (quite physical job ) .
I was a bit depressed and in alot of pain. Thanks to Pink Boy ( who had apparently had 100 similar injuries ) and a couple of others ( broker Peter Tersteeg) we bit the bullet and did it.

1st PPOR - 4 bedroom house Glenhaven NSW, bought in 2011 for 650k, current value around 1.3 million (being pretty conservative)
2nd PPOR - 3 bedroom house Hadfield VIC, bought in 2014 for 430k , current value around 700K (based on comparables)

Still tossing around selling the Hadfield property to be mortgage free on Sydney and to be ready for any correction to buy more or keep it, deleverage and then use equity to invest more...

1st PPOR - bought in Mt Richon WA for $170k in 2003, sold in 2006 for $380k. Lived in it briefly and then rented it out.
Built second PPOR in Tassie in 2007, cost $550k, never lived in it and sold it 2 yrs later for $499k. Dream home, still sad about this one but current home makes up for it a bit.
Built third PPOR in Kelmscott Hills in 2015, never lived in it, currently rented out.
Lived in an IP for 2 yrs (bought it 2014, moved in 2015) and reno'd it, but not really PPOR as owned by trust. Bought for $512k, valued around $590 or so now. Rented out currently.
Bought current PPOR in January, for $670k - would probably sell for more at auction due to quirky/unique factor. But's it's a shack with floors so uneven you can trip on them, so who knows?! :D We LOVE it.

We lived in the country for years so kept building homes to move back too, and then changed our minds!

1st and only ppor $412000 in 2011. $200000 spent on building works. Once completed I would hope for a value approx one million.

That's a really good progression since the first PPOR.
Some big spends on reno's in there, especially the 2nd PPOR.
Lugarno must have been at the peak of the last Sydney boom given the low growth in 14 years.
Also, were the 2nd, 3rd and 4th properties all IP's at some stage as they were all bought prior to selling the previous PPOR's

Which approximate area is your current PPOR ?

    A Sydney story ;)

    Sydney LNS 1993 $265K Sold 2001 $815K
    Sydney LNS 2001 $1,100K Hold $3,000K est
Sydney Ryde LGA 2007 $675K Hold $2,000K est

North Ryde was a "backup PPOR" - with the plan of taking some tax free capital gains. Family have now "gone native" and won't move.

Have spent $150K+ in renovations at each place (as well as at at least 2 others IPs) - still have not mastered the cheap Reno.
