    Looks pretty fancy to me.
I'm sure there's a sink hiding somewhere too.

At my workplace we would have the toaster and the kettle on top of the microwave. But we would get into deep woopsies for leaving the extension lead and the towel on the hotplates.

The photo is slightly out of focus, and the bottle of wine still has wine in it

It mirrors that bench. Sink in the middle then two useless 600mm bench top use. Manu would have kittens!

It depends on your financial situation/goals. I've developed a lifestyle where this kitchen is nicer than mine in some ways (not quite but you know what I mean). If you having this kitchen meant you never had to work again, could you make it work?

I'm going through a MMM phase just now. I approve of the empty wine bottle though.

@bob shovel - gotta love your priorities: cupboard doors have child proof locks, wine bottle is readily accessible. ;)

Driven me to drink... More frequently! Young fella gets the oven open stands in the door and gets the igniters going! I'm pretty quick though so it's all good ;)

I'm glad that Westinghouse oven doors can still be used as a step (even if tenants deny it).

    Maybe burning your lead ?

Agree with others, you rented it, and we only use one double in our house, but if I was you and it was really getting under your skin, I would be suggesting this....

Get the cable or even an extension lead (add plug later) and drill small hole at top left cabinet, and inside drill between panels, and then out the other end of cabinet.

if they say no to this

I would just run the lead under the bench top and hold it with blue tack or silicone if you think you can get it off and not be seen.

This must be a female thing.....us fellas like to have everything on the bench at once (and that is why I am banned from touching most things in the kitchen )

I'll just get the microwave out of the cupboard each time I want to use it?? Kettle, toaster, microwave plugged in,that's not unusual, what's unusual is a small bench that doesn't accommodate them.

As dabbler said, I'll jig something myself. Maybe just swap the light switch on the right to a double power point with light switch

    A walk-in pantry and everything!
And perfect triangle design with the stove, sink and fridge.
    A+!

Looks like there's space to the left and right of the fridge?
