I know, old thread. Are there any bargains on the ASX today?

Interested to hear what everyone thinks about the healthcare sector on ASX. Has underperformed the general market last few years.

I have been looking at CODAN - CDA today. Have got a bit bearish but experts pick them to head back up the board. Mainly communications and gold detectors plus other bits and pieces.

I'm looking at CDA too. A big drop for a company still appearing to be making good earnings.

The other dark horse, or cow I see is A2M

Yes, at least with A2M you can see what caused their drop in earnings. Debt free as well - so they should be spending up. They rely on China and CDA rely on Africa.

I think A2M is a fairly well run company and I doubt the legal action against them will stick.
Though they may get a token fine just to show the court helps the little guys and feed the laywers.

Didnt they ever and I was slow on the uptake due to other commitments. Got a shock when CDA went up 16%

I hold some EML, haven't read the announcement today in full... but in short believe the lowered profit expectations for FY22.

Maybe slightly oversold, but also pretty poor day for overall market...
