What to expect in a construction handover?

    Hi,

    I am wondering what do I expect to get from my builder on a construction handover, other than the list below:

    - keys
    - occupancy certificate
    - any others?

    And should I be getting these on or after making final payment?

    My builder (granny flats Australia) didn't ask for final payment until a month after

    Who does a defect list? And when? Or is that already done

    Handover doesn't occur until the builder has the final payment. Have you had your pre completion inspection?
