    A parole officer is a boss of sorts I suppose. He's pretty cool.

    For me, a poor boss is someone who does not get the best out of the team, and places blame on the team.
    Happens all the time. This is called leadership, or lack of.

    Get him/her sacked.

    Apply for his/her job.

    And, if successful, then you'll be the boss.

    Keep your eye out for any other sociopaths...(assuming the former boss exhibited such tendencies...)
