    I'm interested as well. Love those shiny, dark floors. Unfortunately most hybrid floors these days are matte and lighter colours. As it turns out, Hybrid seems to be the best option for me given it can be easily layed over tiles and the durability

    Havwoods have a wide selection of engineered timber, and will send you free samples .... alternatively go for some complimentary but not similar, so it doesn't look like you've tried to match and failed

    Trying to "match" timber flooring is like white cars. There are thousands of shades of white cars. Buying a new door for same car and model and colour at a wreckers wont mean it will match.

    Solid timber floors can usually be species-identified and then stain & final coat matched by a expert flooring pro.

    Thanks all, found out from previous owner, it is strand woven bamboo.
