Sometime when the ingredients run off the base onto the box during the trip home, you'd be better off eating the box. Although I have to admit that the "godfather" on thin&crispy is passable.

I "planned" to retire a long time ago
But doubt I ever will
As I hope to keep busy, be productive & contribute (to something) for a LONG TIME ;)
Financially, it is probably a long time off...............
But I hope one day to have a few acre's WAY further north of Sydney to purse my frangipani hobby

118 days to go, will still technically be in my 41's for another week.
18 days of full time work left until down to 3 days a week.
    So looking forward to it.

You mean when I'm down to 3 days/week for work?
Go to the athletics track or football field to do my sprinting workouts, then do a 2nd weight training session later in the day.
Totally sucks in winter having to train on a cold morning in the dark before having to go to work.
    It's difficult to stay motivated.
Training after work is also dark and cold too.
During the day is so much easier, especially without having to schedule it around work.

What line of work are you in Ace? That's an impressive passive income. Is it all generated by real estate or have you diversified?

Yes, I meant on the days you aren't working. Sounds good! I have done the run training after works thing too: cold, dark, raining. Really tough. It will be much better for you to train in the day.

    Thanks.
    All resi rental income.
Built a biz from scratch importing and selling online and in store during the last 12 years.
The business bought all the properties.
Selling the biz recently practically paid off all almost all the debt.

Ace, start a thread on your journey, I think everyone would benefit and enjoy hearing about your experiences in the business/property world.

    Brilliant work:)

Combination of property and share investing and superannuation salary sacrificing. And having a focus on saving.

Please can we correct the grammar / spelling on the title of this thread? I just can't look at it any more.

Some manners might help you in retirement also my friend ;)

Im only 28 and hate the idea of slowing down, the goal is to create a work/ lifestyle that is meaningful and hopefully profitable!

So to have a passive income of $100k, does that mean the properties are fully paid off? I'm confused as to how people stop working entirely. Live off equity? I'd love some tips
