I haven't had a budget since I started working. Been saving around 30-50% of my income ever since.

I find myself shopping a lot more (groceries, ozbargain etc) now since I paid off my house and wife has to stay home most of the time with our newborn son. Maybe should think of a budget soon.

One thing I do not compromise is massage. Been twice this week. Might go again tomorrow/ sunday. Legit massage just in case you're wondering.

I don't even know how to answer your question. Our fuel and all car related expenses are salary sacrificed. So that doesnt really figure into our budget at all. But also, we are a family of 7 (5 kids ranging from 2 to 10). So our expenses for groceries, entertainment, clothing, etc, are extremely variable on a week by week basis. Firstly, our budget tends to be done forthnightly (as in we actually do up a new budget each fortnight, to account for the expenses of that particular fortnight). Some weeks we may spend $20 on all seven of us for these things. Other weeks I may easily spend $200+ a day (school holidays are awfully expensive in terms of everything, but its worth spending the money to keep kids entertained and fed, otherwise they just drive me crazy).
