It's not saying 45% correction, it's saying Sydney has risen 45% and a correction is coming.

The article blame the lack of income growth as a reason for an slowdown in prices.. However the same conditions were present during the boom. It seems everyone has a different opinion of the Why but nobody really knows for sure...

    Yes I am reading....

"...BIS Shrapnel is tipping house price falls of 4 per cent in total over 2016/2017 and 2017/2018, with the price growth over the three years to June 2018 totalling 2 per cent. This would be a real house price drop of 6 per cent, a sluggish result but not a freefall.

In June 2018, unit prices are expected to be below that of June 2015 – by 1 per cent"

Sash I think it IS time to take up See_Change's coloured tablets :p

Agree 45% is too much...30% is not unheard of though....

Judging by what is happening in my area..it has already fallen more than 2%.....remember the median values don't get measured daily. AS I posted an example of a T/H 3x2x2 for offers over 900k....6 months ago it would have got 1.2m plus for sure.

Hey mate for someone who does not invest in the Druie..you are getting too wound up. Would move to hear your story....I read about the stuff you bought in Logan...please do share....
Yes....I like my rose colored glasses....but ask the question....See change has quietly sold out some his Sydney stock....why would he do that??:)

not sure where See change has sold his stock. but if an investor has IPs in Mt Druit and further west, which have experienced exceptional growth for unidentified reason, well it might be a good time to sell and move to other cities.

I've sold to pay down debt and improve cash flow .I don't expect Mosman to go up as much in the next five years as Brisbane or Melbourne .

I'm expecting Mt Druitt to drop back . If there is another big financial bump , there will be deals in mosman and everywhere else in Sydney .

wound up? I may have..... oh wait. I didn't start this post, nor am the number 1 'contributor' to this post, with zero or little interest in Druie.

Sash wants to punch on with PC members at Wenty. :p

    Let's stay on topic Sash...

Watching the Druie Drop in Slow Motion

what's my Logan purchase and my success (or not) got anything to do with this?

Not everyone like to share what colour underwear they're wearing on youtube..

All I am questioning is your data in your first post....
