Wow that's really nice - is that your place? That might look good on the exterior of my lumpy monster.

Yes @WattleIdo this is the main bedroom of my PPOR.

This pic attached may actually show the colour better as you can see the white door and the ceiling white as well. This is in a different room but same colours.

I really like white, but with our last house I let the girls choose the colour of their walls. We've ended up with four pink bedrooms. They love them and I love them--lovely, warm and inviting.

I absolutely love that colour. I'm now drawn to greys. They can be really warm.

image.png image.png image.png Very soft pale mint is nice in a girls room if they have lots of pink stuff. It kind of balances out the pink. My 5 year old wants everthing pink at the moment and it can be a bit much.

I think grey usually looks fantastic but its been such a strong trend that when it goes out of fashion its going to really date everything to a very specific period. Having said that grey and pink is a lovely combination. Or grey and yellow.

True, it has been a strong trend but it's still running hot. I think the same too - one day we'll look back and wonder what we were thinking.
Still, at least it's a neutral , in the same way heritage green was, I suppose. In the meantime, I'm loving grey pebble. It's warm so you get a cool/warm thing going on. Good for every side of the house.

Very expensive. Start with dirt bikes then go onto a road bike. Can't wait to buy a new bike now.

Orange and Yellow? Go for it! Just paint a feature wall in those colours in each room ... even better ... paint it in chalk paint so they can use it as a blackboard.

It's only paint - the cheapest part of your decoration

I ended up painting the room white. I used white on white for the walls and high gloss vivid white enamel paint for the skirting and architraves. Haven't finished yet.

image.jpg Babies room is painted. Wife just needs to decorate it with some colour and I will put some floating shelves up.

By the time she is old enough top comment on colour it will be outdated. The colour that you both like is probably the right colour now. When she is older - 5ish she would love to have a say in décor and colour.

I'm not sure if you've already painted but the room in the photo is my daughter's and the walls have been painted in Colorbond Surfmist. It's a very pale grey so adds that bit of warmth.

For her next room (early next year) I'm thinking pure white walls and pops of bright colours (inspired by Smarties) through art, furniture, books and toys.
