Just checked the timetable and seems like nothing available for this Sat night.
Might have gone if it were available.

Our office is in the middle of the city and I like it. There is always something happening. Vivid is great, but insanely crowded. I'll go on foot once after work one night, but we have access to a boat so we'll do that, too. Vivid is worth seeing - much bigger and more varied than it was in the early years.

Yeah I heard that, so that's why we decided to make it an 'outing' this year. Hopefully it wont disappoint. :)

@bob shovel your good at this stuff, question. That straight red line is basically all up hill elevation, there is no sudden drop. In the picture I put a square around elevation (hard to read but it says 22m from 1 point to the other), and I drew an arc around where it shows a 'drop'? what does that arced area on the corresponding elevation graph mean? Because in reality it is just all up hill elevation no sudden changes to terrain.

    Thanks .

It's drawn like that as a step rather than the graph cutting into the pretty picture of the treatment plant ;) like it reseting but is actually a continual rise
    Doing some running are we?

Enjoy @Leo2413 I might see you from land ahoy :D
Going in with friends to enjoy the festivities but I prefer the freedom of dry land (just hope this awful wind dies down!) Vivid is great if you don't mind crowds and it's a great atmosphere. Unashamedly love Sydney :)

Thanks @Jacque. Yeah we are hoping these winds die down so its less shaky on the water! :) Have a great time and might see you on dry land when we dock to investigate the festivities. And I'm with you on Sydney - absolutely love it. :D

Leo, myself and the better half stayed at the Park Hyatt (very astute decision) for two nights.

Outstanding hotel, room and service, and what more could be asked for?

Your pics are what we saw too.

Great time and would recommend it to everyone on the forum (individual transport aside)....

Sounds like a very nice and relaxing couple of days you had! And the Park Hyatt is one of our favourite hotels there! Pure luxury. You've done vivid in style
