I booked a villa for a couple of nights in Umalas which we’d stayed in before, and just found an amazing villa on Air bnb just out of Ubud, for a week. We’ll go to Kuta for the last couple of days for the obligatory Waterbom day and hubby loves the walk of death along the beach front so that will keep him happy too :)

I find it hard to imagine this guy in Bali.

    Ha!

Well I would never choose a Bali holiday (much prefer cold weather) but we went there last year for work and came across a great driver so if you’d like his number, let me know.

I thought I was the only one walking around Sydney in a tee-shirt and shorts at 7.00am when the temp is still in the single digits

You've got nothing on the people on the ship we were just on, especially in the Baltic . We were in long sleeves, with a scarf and jacket either on, or ready to put on.

Walking through the pool area, there was a LOT of flesh being oiled up, ready for a jolly good sunbathing session. There were quite a few Russians on board, and I'm thinking most of the sunbathers may have been Russians who no doubt thought anything above zero was sunbathing weather. :Do_O
