    Sim,
How does 72 properties only total 4 Million?
Even at $100K per property it will be 7.2 million
    Cheers

Im guessing it's total property porfolio value minus the amount still owing to the bank. However you look at it its still a remarkable achievement.

Not sure where the figures come from. He does do a lot of joint-ventures though, so that may be where the difference is.

As Sim mentions he does JV's

I understood it as 72 properties where he directly owns 30 odd with the rest in JV's where he has no direct ownership but own 51% of the control and capital gain. I think he mentioned that this is achieved through a deed of arrangement.

    Cheers

PS you can also read part of his story on his web site

Well, it was from 15 years ago on a site that is no longer active

A quick search on Somersoft found the thread - SIG Meeting Monday June 16th 2008 - Victor Kumar

I don't think the audio files are there anymore.

No, all user accounts have been disabled and depersonalised and all private conversations have been deleted. You couldn't log into your old account on Somersoft to read the conversations in any case - even if they still existed.

    Ahh the old gurus...
Likely nobody ever found out about the "72" properties he "transacted on", or was "involved in" in the suburb of LaLaLand.

But the wealth model sure was dope on this one...
    Go to rich country
    Get gov job
Claim compo pay out for bad back after a year or two
    Buy a few houses
Boom! Be a property expert, broker and BA
Teach people how to be be rich "from scratch"
Watch the forums lap it up
