Hehe, mine is reef keeping, especially rare corals.

Dropped a fair amount of coin on this bad boy - Master Scolymia :D

    Cheers,

    Rare coral collection :(
-->No more in the ocean... :( --> if a lot of people did that --> loss of the reefs....
Unless you know of a way they can be grown sustainably and not poached out of the oceans....

Alot of corals can be propagated. With what's happening with global warming, you will find that reefers are actually doing alot more for the marine life and increasing sustainability.

It's definitely not a case of just taking what's in the ocean and looking at it in the living room.

    Cheers,
    Michael

I am not a big coffee drinker.

So, my vice is red wine, in particular a nice, smooth shiraz.

Being a member of three wine clubs (and being forced to buy their wine :) :)), having a wine fridge, having a wine cellar and having a custom-built bar, I have outlaid the odd $ over the years.

But I would rather retire "rich and happy" than "filthy rich and unhappy".

Achieved the 'happy' goal; just got to get to the 'rich' goal.

At least it is a vice that you can share with friends.

You have achieved the harder of the 2 in my opinion. I feel that for some types there is no satisfying them. FWIW I am a sucker for wine also. Good stuff only!

My vice is wasting time - probably worse than wasting money.

Ok. My vice..... playing with and pulling out my hair at work! Can anybody help me solve it? If I drastically cut my hair short or cut off my left hand it will fix this, but are there other ways?

I work from home so nobody sees me, but I've always got my hair (when working) tied back tight. Maybe wear a scarf a la Jacqueline Kennedy?

    Ok. I'll try the scarf....
I sometimes tie my hair up and it works for a while but I generally end up taking out the hair tie within 3/4 hours.

The endorphin rush from the little pain you get pulling it out gets addictive. You can switch to another part of the body where it's less noticeable (eg arm hair) whilst you try and break the habit but it normally takes quite awhile.
