The last one is perhaps a minority dissenting view

Perhaps a lot of the frustration being expressed isn't just because of the racial aspects, there could be a large amount of frustration and anger at being quarantined, losing jobs, and getting sick - the last point more applicable to non whites than whites.

And unfortunately, the act of mass protests may well be exposing a lot more people to Coronavirus, making the problems even worse.

It was also tongue in cheek...

But the first four would go a long way towards fighting racism.

Whilst I agree with the fact that it is out of one's control where you are born, your skin colour or eye colour, I vehemently disagree that one doesn't have the choice over their chosen religion.

True - but why should someone else dictate to you what your choice should be ... but I'm getting off topic

Elderly people are frequently retired, so the financial impact would have been far less.

Young people are catching the disease - and largely surviving. There is frequently a hit to health amongst survivors. The largest group impacted is the 20-29 age group.

And then there is the passion of being young.

Interesting article - what it does point out that even in a mixed race, there will be degrees of "mix-ability" that will be discriminated against, because humans are prone to pigeon-holing and stereotyping.

To end racism is to tackle the problem behind the need for some to be racist, rather than the actual victim of racism having to change. This is shown clearly in the Oprah video I posted a few pages back.

Comes back to changing the attitude perpetrator rather than the appearance of the victim

    No need.

I started the list and others added to it.

As we saw, the cure is not that hard to get one’s head around.
