Since I’m a property “expert” from reading all the posts here :p , I’m helping a friend with inspection of potential unit purchase. There are cracks everywhere!!!
It’s a 6 levels block with what looks like 200 units in it. Are cracks in units as important as houses or just something that comes with large buildings?

Looks normal to me, any apartment building that are building with bricks, they all have little cracks eventually. its the expansion of the bricks due to temperature changes.
From the pictures the cracks width looks like less than 1mm, so All it needs is just some cosmetic work.

They are hairline cracks. And the building is brick. Hmm. He is getting a Building inspection anyway but it’s interesting to know that these are fine. I would think in single/two storey should be perfectly ok. But when you have something that is 6 storeys ...

Fill white set and will look great.
Looks like settlement cracks and a tiny bit of. Movement over years would not phase me.

Make sure you do strata search.

None of those scare me, typical for double brick and render settlement
