    Hi Guys
Thinking of building a new 2 storey home on existing property.
There is a huge 15m tall gum tree smack bang in the middle 3/4 of the way back.
We can try and build around it, or second option would be to see if we can have it removed (and replant a new one).

Has anyone succesfully lodged a DA before for a new construction with eucalyptus tree removal (+/- planting a new one)?

We are in Ryde area (so Ryde Council).

    Thank you

Just lodge it, and see what happens.

I would speak to an expert arborist in the area for advice. This way if they have a solution you can submit it to council with your documentation.
