l wish what Autrsalian stuff they do make had some more depth to it , we need some new writers here so badly . It's always the same old crap and portraying Australians in the same way ,some typical rough edged and rough talking rough dressing like you'd find in the bloody outback or however else you would describe it , it should be shown as we really are and varied and what story there is is that damn simple and basic.
Some of the NZ stuff is just beautiful stuff, such depth and soul , often cultural or using the marri sides of their culture , ours is all pretty damn embarrassing these days l find and really lacking anything much but especially any culture and depth , some sort of half decent story line.
So need some decent writers here.

And these bloody cooking and reno competition shows , that's all they think we watch OS. Can't stand any of them. Uk has real reno shows of real couples spending their money and doing their property and dreams and gambles , some of it's brilliant.

On the upside l think some of our actors are the best out there , so much more presence and intensity than most. The say Crow is crazily intense when he's acting for example and you can see the difference for sure.

BTW , you know Crowe has been trying to get Australian citizenship for 10 bloody years , believe that , that's how much bs we have become here .

ZeroZeroZero..... Whoa, brilliant series. I would've hopelessly binged the entire series last night if it weren't for staggered episode releases!

The cinematography and ambient soundtrack in ZeroZeroZero was amazing also, the best I've seen in a TV series.

I've been enjoying The Upstart Crow, a comedy series, perhaps best described as Shakespeare meets Blackadder.
Upstart Crow (TV Series 2016– ) - IMDb

    Written by Ben Elton.

On Stan in Australia, Netflix in UK.

Series 3 has just started on iView, and episode 1 is available. Series 1 and 2 (six episodes each) are only available elsewhere.

Having loved "The haunting of Hill house", I was really excited to watch "The haunting of Bly manor".

First 3 or 4 eps were.. uneven, but enjoyable.. but from then it just went on a bit of a downward spiral IMO. Really disappointing :(

Started rewatching Breaking bad again and enjoying it just as much the 2nd time around!
