    Hi All,
I would like to question why some real estate agents use trick photography! do some real estate agents purchase special lenses or editing apps? Trying to make the property appear much bigger than in reality! In my opinion this has a negative effect on the property's that are being advertised. We all know microwaves are not 1.5m long sales people!

Yes, they commonly use wide angle lens to make the rooms look bigger

We have seen examples here of Photoshop being used to eliminate HV power lines over the property!

    Totally dishonest.

They learnt from travel websites. I have never stayed in a room as good as the images they use.

If this image of my next hotel room in Venice is real I will streak down Martin Place at lunchtime.

I'm on my knees praying like a mad man that your hotel room will exceed your expectations.

Very few use "trick photography" and most use professional photographers that have specialist editing companies.
Wide angle lens will distort aspect by there very nature, the closer things are and the closer to the edge of the lens the more distorted they appear. To straighten up vertical lines/walls they will use photo shop or.....they'll use an expensive 'tilt-shift' lens.

I dont have an issue with cleaning up photos, brightening them up, changing the sky et el. but removing large water tanks from behind the property or railway tracks just make people angry and dont help your cause.
