What would be your fees for representing someone in court per day out of curiosity ?

I don't do court work. But I would charge around $2000 per day in court if I did.

So are you saying that if she went to court she would be up for 2k? she would have to ask for make good or remediation costs as well, She would certainly want watertight evidence!

More possibly as you have to file documents, and also need to prepare for court.

Call the police and the Council who will either do something or say it is a civil dispute. Then remove the device and wiring without damage and place it back over the fence.

You may choose to complain to the police about the wilful damage they have done to your property drilling holes in it to bolt it down.
In Qld you can use reasonable force to remove trespassers from your property when they come back and try it again.

I cant believe this is a real situation.

If it was my place I (or someone I arranged) would jump on the roof and remove the antenna and place the equipment on their doorstep. Not trying to be aggressive but if someone is clearing attaching fittings to my house I wouldnt bother spending time and money going to court to fix the problem.

I suspect the only way this crowd will listen and, and 'not do it again ' is with a court order.
They have taken quite a few other liberties with her, and I think the next time she 'turns her back', they will do some other form of trespass, drainage, decorative, TV arial is just one of the dumb things they have done....

She went to the police yesterday , they advised her to provide good quality photographs as evidence. And also that the courts only the concrete facts.

Hook your tv cable up to their ariel, I'm sure they'll have better reception if it is newer.

She has spoken with a Registrar and he has advised her to get a copy of her Title deeds, so that when she shoots , she has her ducks lined up! Still no outcome, but hopefully this will work towards one, cheers
