    Hi all,
Looking into travertine paving for around a pool. Does anyone know if it is more susceptible to iron staining than other products as it is quite porous ? Is a granite paver more suitable?

We have travertine around our pool, and no issues with the bore water yet it been 12 months.

    They do stain easily.
Likely more so from other things, red wine, water baloons, leaf matter.........
You should seal them, often annually (or as per label of recommend product)
