Transferring of bond when switching agent

When i switch to a new agent for my property management, somehow in the midst of things, the bond didn't get transfer to the new agent so its still sitting with the old agent.

Who is suppose to organise the transfer of the bond, the old agent or the new agent?

 

Old agent should pass the transfer of bond form to the new agent

Is this still paper based? Is there no online portal to do this?

 

If the old agent has not provided a signed bond transfer form the new agent can submit a bond transfer form along with a copy of the managing authority and the RTBA will complete the transfer without the old agents signature

 

Must check this for QLD... Will save me hours of chasing....!
