    A girlfriend manages 7 holiday rental properties ... ergo a lot of toilet paper ... but her usual supplier is not taking orders due to demand.

    She went down to the local supermarket and loaded up ... and had to explain dozens of times to people who accused her of hoarding

    I suggested perhaps guests should byo

    You could wash your bum in the shower to save on toilet paper but in all seriousness, I installed a bum gun in the main toilet which I mostly like to use. If you got some poop on your arm would you smear it off with some paper, or would you wash it off? If you're not a caveman then of course the most hygienic method is to wash the poop off your bum and that's why I use the bum gun.

    I had to laugh at that post, but I'm sure he meant that IF you got it on your arm you would wash it off with water and not wipe it off with paper... ergo, why not wash "everywhere" with water?

    Talk to moms with babies. They poop everywhere and sometimes when u carrying them the poop comes out the back of the diapers and onto arms shirt pants etc..

    Back when my eldest was a baby. She got sick, and we were out. I went to change the nappy & she had long pants over the top. It had leaked out of the nappy & down the legs, all the way to the ankles. What a mess!

    Agreed - "fondly" remember the neck to knee jobbies ... but I don't think that was the context in which the comment was made as one simply washed it off
