One of my girlfriends called me this morning and told me she ran out .. our local Wollies had run out too.

i offered her 10 of my precious toilet rolls...

    This is her reply :

" I was very touched by your gesture when you offered your toilet rolls to me...thanks Friend"...

That msg really cracked me up :))))) you know you have a good and loyal friend when she is willing to "roll" along with you hahaha!!!

best piece of laughter i have had amidst all these gloomy C. news :p:p:p

In a household full of women (wife and multiple daughters) 37 rolls will last exactly... 1 week...

I just came back from the shops. No trolley, no toilet paper, no tissues. Apparently the centre with Woolworths and Aldi sold out at 9.00am. There was still a few rolls of super absorbent paper towels left but people were starting to stock up on them too. Both shops had restrictions so people were loading up their cars then returning. Also Panadol, hand sanatiser and water being snapped up. Aldi staff were happy they are getting commission on sales. No trolleys on Sunday also.

I don't understand why people are stocking up on water. This virus isn't going to affect our domestic water supplies. Your kitchen tap isn't about to become infected.

Whilst the infrastructure does require ongoing maintenance, I can't see that this virus would affect services so badly that basic maintenance becomes impossible.

As for toilet paper, I usually need it once a day. I also tend to shower once a day. If things get desperate, I'm sure I'll figure something out.

I went to the shops this morning. Some dude had something like 20 bottles of shampoo, Nivea for Men & Spray & Wipe. Heaps of other stuff as well, but I couldn't tell what it was. It was insane.

I don't get the toilet paper thing. 60% of the paper sold is made in Australia, on automated machines, so not like were going to run out

I did stock up on codral, panadol, Nurofen and b-b-berocca over the last few weeks, as that's all made overseas

Yeah, I had people in front of me at the supermarket. I coughed and said, "this cough is so much worse since I came back from China". I got service straight away.

I was in a carpark earlier today, this big dude rolled a litthe old lady who was humping a few date rolls back to her car.

When he realised the old dear only had two ply, he apologised and ran off empty handed.
