Depends if you willing to take another 10 year outlook you can't go long. Now is the best opportunity to put a DA and sell your property onto to a developer. You see this happening every cycle where the inexperienced developers take this on...some end up in grief...

No just being practical....remember I also called "The Mother of All Booms" in 2011 people laughed at me...now I am calling a server correction..not all areas of Sydney...but some will see massive pain.

Which areas that you predict will be in the Mortgage Stress in Sydney this time ;-) ?
I bet it's all within the OTP apartment or H&L package that is in the outer fringe of North/Southwest.

    is that correct @sash ?

Blame my mother.... I am actually a Jacqueline and she just omitted the line to spell it Jacque (pronounced Jackie) - named after her fav cousin who still spells it the same way *sigh* :) One day I may change it simply to be more phonetic but in the meantime myself and others here (much like Sim who still gets Sim (short i) and not Sim (as in rhyme)) will just have to put up with the confusion caused :D:D

It's begun. House in our street hasn't sold in 4 weeks. $1.3m for sash's favourite suburb of kellyville.

It's anecdotal. Yes probably overpriced. 4/5 bedders with a pool don't go for any less than $1.1+ though.

The last 12 months have seen quick sales, new higher prices, lots of people through opens. That's not what I've seen over the last few weeks here.

Forgotten which suburb ( northern beaches ) BUT i heard my first negative comment from a patient today saying that things were slowing down .

Don't necessarily believe them yet .... But It's the first comment I've heard like that for a couple of years ...

Just means people with apartments under 50sqm are finding it difficult to offload. Foolish buyers buy in that space...

@Gockie & @Darlinghurst Boy what about 3 bedroom apartments in Sydney area ?
I think that's going to be stable or even increasing due to most people unable to get house, so they are looking for the 3 bedrooms apartment.
